While known for her comedic timing
and straight shooting attitude, Joan Rivers was always an icon of real Woman Power
to me. She was always her own person and she flaunted all the conventions.
She never seemed afraid to be
forceful and say uncomfortable things. She was never afraid to dress is if she
was as rich as she actually was.
I will just bet that any man that
crossed her path either ended up on his knees or on his ear out in the street.
She was such an icon for a
burgeoning generation of young no holds barred ladies.
Oh Ms. Joan, how I wish that I had
had the opportunity to polish your boots just once and tell you that you were
magnificent.
You will be sorely missed.
